Celtech, the retail technology company, has announced the recent appointment of Steve Bentley as ‘Product Consultant’ for the UK market. He will be responsible for looking after product interaction with Celtech’s customer base, predominately in the UK convenience retail sector, as well as input for product development.

With over twenty years’ supply chain experience, Steve was formerly the Application Development Manager for the East of England Co-operative Society, the fourth largest consumer co-operative in the UK. The East of England Co-op, a Celtech customer, is running on the Celtech’s pioneering true real-time retail management solution, ab-initio.

Steve brings not only a wealth of retail experience to his new role but a deep level of understanding of the ab-initio application as an end-user. Having used it for the past fifteen years Steve is acutely aware of how to maximise ab-initio’s value to stream-line operations and embed efficiency within a retail business.
